Supply Chain Management Head

Job Description : Head SCM (Supply Chain Management) Solar EPC Projects Location: Middle East Experience: 20+ years in Supply Chain/Procurement with Solar EPC projects Key Responsibilities: · Lead end-to-end supply chain, procurement, and logistics for solar EPC projects. · Develop and implement procurement strategies for modules, inverters, structures, cables, and balance-of-system components. · Negotiate contracts with suppliers and vendors, ensuring quality,cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery. · Oversee inventory management, logistics, and warehousing for multiple project sites. · Ensure compliance with company policies, statutory requirements, and international trade regulations. · Build and manage a high-performing SCM team, drive process improvements, and mitigate supply risks. · Coordinate closely with engineering, construction, and project management teams to align supply chain activities with project schedules. Qualifications: · BE/BTech in Engineering; MBA in Supply Chain/Operations preferred. · Significant experience in procurement and supply chain management for large-scale EPC or renewable energy projects. · Strong negotiation, vendor management, and team leadership skills. · Familiarity with international sourcing, logistics, and customs regulations Common Attributes for All Roles: · Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. · Proven ability to manage large teams and complex, multi-site projects. · Commitment to quality, safety, and timely project delivery. · Experience in the Middle East or similar international environments is highly desirable
