India imports 80% of its Oil & Gas requirement. We want to drastically reduce this and strengthen energy security for our country. Indian geology has good reserves of hydrocarbon and the government is very keen to develop and harness this. In line with the vision of AatmaNirbhar Bharat, the Government of India is introducing progressive national policies on ease of doing business, self – certification and bringing down taxes/levies in line with international standards. It is important for world class companies in Oil & Gas sector to come and invest in India. We are offering a President level position to someone who is passionate and wants to play a key role in nation – building. The person must have deep understanding of Government. S/he should have worked in Government & Regulatory Bodies and other such Institutions. This is a very senior role and the person should be able to carry himself well with a very positive attitude. The incumbent will be responsible for working with all key stakeholders and partner with Government to unlock the huge untapped Hydrocarbon potential of the Country and also leverage it to enable Cairn reach its potential. S/he will play a pivotal role towards this mission by partnering with government and industry bodies, for Oil & Gas Policy Reforms that attracts Global Investors to reap the true potential of our rich Geological basins.
