Job Description : 6) Lead – OPCO General Ledger (Sr. Manager Level) for a leading global company with operations across Africa and headquartered in India. ???? Location: Gurugram, India ???? Function: Finance – Africa operations This is a strategic finance role overseeing end-to-end general ledger and reporting processes for 14 operating countries across Africa. The role requires sharp accounting expertise, stakeholder management, and strong command over international accounting standards. Key Responsibilities: Lead monthly/quarterly financial closing and reporting under IFRS/local GAAP Ensure timely and accurate consolidation and audit support across countries Serve as the central point for GL governance and compliance Collaborate with country CFOs, auditors, and cross-functional leads Drive process improvements, internal controls, and risk mitigation initiatives Ideal Profile: Qualified Chartered Accountant with 8+ years of relevant experience Strong hands-on knowledge of IFRS, audit, and multi-country finance operations Exposure to SAP and global accounting systems Ability to manage complexity across diverse geographies and teams Experience in a global or multinational business environment preferred This is a high-visibility role with opportunities to engage across geographies and influence finance leadership globally.
