Job Description : Plant Head - Plastic Moulding Experience- 15 to 20 years COLUMBIA Open to International Spanish speaking candidates *Reports to:* Operations Director/VP *Job Summary:* The Plant Head - Plastic Moulding will oversee the overall operations of the plastic moulding plant, ensuring efficient production, quality, safety, and cost-effectiveness. This role will lead a team of production, quality, and maintenance personnel to achieve operational excellence. *Key Responsibilities:* 1. *Production Planning*: Develop and implement production plans to meet customer demand. 2. *Quality Management*: Ensure quality standards are met through effective quality control measures. 3. *Safety*: Maintain a safe working environment, adhering to safety protocols and regulations. 4. *Cost Optimization*: Identify areas for cost reduction and implement initiatives to improve profitability. 5. *Team Leadership*: Lead, motivate, and develop a team of production, quality, and maintenance personnel. 6. *Maintenance*: Ensure equipment maintenance and uptime, minimizing downtime and optimizing production capacity. 7. *Continuous Improvement*: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance efficiency and productivity. *Requirements:* 1. *Education*: Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Production/Plastics) or related field. 2. *Experience*: 15 to 20 years of experience in plastic moulding or similar industry, with 5+ years in a leadership role. 3. *Skills*: - Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. - Knowledge of plastic moulding processes, quality control, and safety protocols. - Experience with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives. *Preferred Qualifications:* 1. *MBA or related postgraduate degree*. 2. *Certifications in quality management, lean manufacturing, or safety management*. 3. Experience with Industry 4.0 and automation technologies.
