Supply Chain Manager

Job Description : SCM ZIMBABWE The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the end-to-end supply chain processes, ensuring seamless procurement, contract execution, and commercial operations. This role is critical in maintaining cost-effective logistics, inventory management, supplier relationships, and ensuring timely delivery of raw materials and finished products. 1. Logistics Management - Oversee inbound, intercompany, and outbound material movement to ensure efficiency and cost-effectiveness. - Select transportation routes, consolidate shipments, and manage warehousingdistribution plans. - Ensure compliance with customs regulations, including duty/VAT payments and border clearances. - Negotiate freight, customs clearing, and cargo handling rates while fostering strong partnerships with clearing agencies. 2. Procurement & Contract Management - Manage the purchase contract of Agri-commodities (oil and fats, oilseed, grains) both locally and internationally. - Analyze global commodity indices and guide the company on optimal purchase timings. - Oversee contract management frameworks to monitor supplier performance, contract amendments, and dispute resolution. 3. Sales & Contract Management - Manage the sales contract of De-Oil cake, and other by products. - Coordinate with customer's procurement and accounts department for consistent supply of materials within the credit system. 4. Inventory Management & Reporting - Optimize inventory control processes to prevent downtime while ensuring seamless operations. - Develop inventory management metrics for tracking usage trends and anticipating replenishment needs. - Conduct variance analysis reports and ensure the organization operates withinbudgeted parameters. Required Qualifications & Experience: - Education: MBA - Experience: Minimum of 10 years in supply chain management, with at least 3 years in a managerial role in procurement and trade operations
