Job Description : HEAD OF FINANCE MANUFACTURING SYDNEY AUSTRALIA Open to International candidates Lead the budgeting process, forecasting activities, and comprehensive financial planning for all Vietnam operations, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives. Oversee all accounting functions including management of the general ledger, accounts payable and receivable, as well as monthly closing procedures to maintain accurate records. Ensure timely and precise financial reporting that adheres strictly to Vietnamese Accounting Standards (VAS) as well as International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). In charge of the consolidation of financial statements. Supervise local tax planning and compliance activities covering VAT, Corporate Income Tax (CIT), and Personal Income Tax (PIT), while maintaining effective relationships with tax authorities and external auditors. Monitor internal controls rigorously to guarantee regulatory adherence throughout all financial processes within the organisation. Provide insightful financial analysis, risk assessments, and actionable business insights to support senior management decision-making. Lead, mentor, and develop the local finance and accounting team by fostering a culture of collaboration, knowledge sharing, and professional growth. What you'll bring: A proven track record with 10-15 years of finance leadership experience gained within multinational companies operating in Vietnam. Extensive experience working within the Manufacturing sector is essential. Big 4 audit background and professional qualifications such as ACCA are required. In-depth knowledge of IFRS and VAS, tax regulations, and statutory compliance frameworks. A highly analytical mindset combined with strong business partnering skills that enable you to provide meaningful insights beyond numbers. Advanced proficiency in ERP systems as well as modern financial reporting tools ensures efficient workflow management.
