Cost Accounting certification (e.g., CMA, ICWA) is a strong plus. Key Requirements: • Minimum of 10 years of professional accounting experience, with at least 3-5 years in a cost accounting or accounts management role. • Preferably from a manufacturing or industrial background. • Strong knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS) and financial reporting. • Proficiency in accounting software Job Responsibility: Responsible for managing and analyzing financial costs associated with the company’s operations, particularly within a manufacturing environment. Their primary duties include budgeting, maintaining cost records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring cost efficiency across departments. This role plays a key part in helping the company control expenses, improve profitability, and maintain accurate financial records that support informed decision-making. Key Responsibilities: • Manage all cost accounting functions including cost analysis, inventory valuation, and cost of goods sold (COGS) calculations. • Develop and maintain standard costing systems, identify variances, and recommend corrective actions. • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and budgets. • Collaborate with production and procurement teams to assess and optimize costs. • Monitor and improve internal financial controls and processes. • Provide detailed reports on cost drivers and margin performance. • Assist in external audits and ensure all accounting activities comply with statutory regulations. • Forecast costs and perform financial risk assessments for ongoing and future projects.
