Deputy Finance Manager

Job Description : Deputy Finance Manager (Telecom Industry) Location - Democratic Republic of Congo, Central Africa ????Key Responsibilities 1. Assist the Finance Manager with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. 2. Manage data entry and journal postings in the accounting ERP system accurately and timely. 3. Oversee accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliations. 4. Support budgeting, forecasting, and cost tracking processes. 5. Monitor cash flow and manage daily treasury operations. 6. Ensure compliance with local tax laws and statutory obligations. 7. Coordinate with auditors, banks, suppliers, and regulatory bodies. 8. Implement and maintain internal financial controls and procedures. 9. Supervise and support junior accounting staff. 10. Participate in the rollout, customization, or migration of ERP/accounting software. ???? Qualifications & Experience 1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s degree or professional qualification such as CA, ACCA is a plus). 2. Minimum 10 years of experience in finance and accounting, preferably in infrastructure, services, or related sectors. 3. Experience in the telecom sector is an advantage but not a requirement. 4. Experience working in Africa or in emerging markets is an advantage. 5. Proficiency in financial software (e.g., Tally, Sage, QuickBooks, Odoo, or similar ERP systems). 6.
