10 yearsJob Description : HEAD OF QUALITY THAILAND As Head of Quality, you will play an instrumental role in shaping the overall approach to quality across the business. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve close engagement with both internal teams and external suppliers to ensure that every aspect of production meets rigorous standards Oversee and manage all customer quality complaints and field warranty issues, ensuring timely resolution within budget while maintaining the highest levels of customer satisfaction. Monitor and control plant quality key performance indicators such as First Time Quality (FTQ), Manufacturing Parts Per Million (PPM), and Cost Of Poor Quality (COPQ) to ensure alignment with company targets and budgets. Develop, implement, and lead quality continuous improvement projects that deliver measurable enhancements in manufacturing processes against set improvement targets. Maintain robust incoming quality inspection activities according to established procedures, proactively preventing failures from supplier manufacturing at the receiving stage. Act as the appointed Quality Management Representative (QMR) for the company, leading the implementation and ongoing compliance of Quality Management Systems (QMS) in accordance with ISO9001 requirements. Ensure the validity and consistency of ISO9001 certification across all relevant business units through regular audits and process reviews. What you bring: To excel as Head of Quality, you will bring extensive experience gained within demanding manufacturing environments where attention to detail is paramount. Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or a closely related discipline is required for this position. A minimum of 10 years’ progressively broadening experience in quality management within an OEM, Automotive, Consumer Electronics manufacturing environment is essential. Proven track record managing high-volume workloads while consistently meeting tight deadlines is necessary for success in this role. Comprehensive understanding of ISO9001 requirements along with hands-on experience implementing or maintaining Quality Management Systems is expected. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets related to product quality and process efficiency are important assets. Excellent interpersonal communication skills enabling effective interaction with both internal stakeholders and external partners are crucial.
