Job Description : Head – API R&D (Sr. VP Level) Location: Hyderabad Industry: API Pharmaceuticals CTC: Up to ?2.00 Cr. P.A. We are looking for a seasoned API R&D leader for a reputed pharmaceutical company in Hyderabad. The ideal candidate will hold a PhD in Organic Chemistry and have over 25 years of experience in API research and development, including at least 10 years in a senior leadership role. This position will lead a team of 500+ scientists across R&D and ARD. The role involves overseeing end-to-end development of novel and generic APIs for regulated markets (US, EU, ROW), driving process optimization, scale-up, and tech transfers, and ensuring regulatory compliance with ICH and USFDA standards along with robust DMF and CMC documentation. The candidate will champion QbD, impurity profiling, and process innovation, and collaborate closely with QA, Regulatory, Manufacturing, and Business Development teams while building and mentoring high-performing R&D teams.
