What you'll do: As a Finance Director, you will be entrusted with a broad remit that spans day-to-day finance operations as well as hands-on treasury management. Your role will involve not only ensuring the smooth running of core accounting functions but also taking ownership of cash flow forecasting, bank relationship management, loan monitoring, and working capital optimisation. Lead daily finance operations including accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, and ensuring accurate records are maintained at all times. Oversee treasury functions such as cash flow forecasting, managing bank relationships, monitoring loans, and optimising working capital to ensure liquidity. Drive the adoption of automation tools and technology within finance processes to streamline workflows and improve data-driven decision making. Implement robust financial controls to safeguard assets while ensuring compliance with local and international accounting standards. Collaborate with various departments to provide financial insights that support strategic business decisions and foster organisational growth. Prepare comprehensive financial reports for senior management, offering clear analysis on performance metrics and recommendations for improvement. Monitor capital structure and participate in fundraising activities as needed to support expansion initiatives or operational requirements. Continuously review existing processes to identify areas for enhancement, promoting best practices throughout the finance function. Support audit processes by maintaining thorough documentation and facilitating communication between internal teams and external auditors. Champion a culture of continuous improvement by mentoring team members, encouraging professional development, and sharing knowledge across the organisation. What you bring: To excel as Finance Director in this organisation, you will bring substantial experience gained from senior finance roles where you have overseen both operational accounting functions and treasury activities. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) qualification or equivalent certification is required Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation is advantageous but not mandatory. Minimum of 8–10 years’ experience in finance roles with at least 3 years spent in leadership positions overseeing teams or departments. Demonstrated expertise in cash flow management including forecasting techniques, bank relationship management, loan monitoring, and working capital optimisation. Proven track record of managing treasury operations effectively within fast-paced or high-growth environments. Commitment to continuous learning demonstrated by staying updated on industry trends or participating in relevant training opportunities.
