Internal Audit Director

Job Description : INTERNAL AUDIT DIRECTOR IVC FOR MINING Reporting to the General Management and in direct contact with the Audit Committee, you are responsible for assessing the effectiveness, reliability and compliance of internal control, risk management and governance systems. In this capacity, your main responsibilities include: Design, plan and deploy an annual internal audit plan based on a rigorous analysis of business risks Carry out audit missions (operational, financial, compliance, IT) on different sites, in complex and sensitive environments Identify control gaps, formulate concrete recommendations and manage their follow-up with the relevant departments Provide the General Management and the Audit Committee with independent, precise and usable diagnostics Strengthen critical processes and foster a culture of risk management within teams Manage a team of internal auditors and ensure their technical and methodological skills development Coordinate relationships with auditors, supervisory authorities and strategic partners in a context of high regulatory requirements. The Successful Applicant A graduate of a leading business school or holder of a Master's degree in auditing, finance, accounting, or management control, you have at least ten years of auditing experience, a significant portion of which was acquired in a heavy industrial, extractive, or multi-site environment. You are comfortable in demanding environments where communication with executive management is key, particularly in matters of governance and risk management.
