Finance Director

Job Description : FINANCE DIRECTOR SENEGAL a major agri-food company specializing in the production, processing, and marketing of agricultural products in Africa. As part of their growth and to strengthen their strategic financial management, they are seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for their subsidiary in Dakar, Senegal. Job Description As a Finance Director, your responsibilities will include: Financial Strategy & Leadership: Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with business objectives Provide strategic recommendations to the General Management and the Executive Committee Budgeting & Forecasting: Develop and manage annual budgets and long-term financial forecasts Carry out financial due diligence in the context of potential mergers or acquisitions Financial Operations & Reporting: Ensure the timely preparation and submission of the monthly Finpack and annual financial statements Ensure compliance with accounting standards (US GAAP, SYSCOHADA) Team Leadership: Developing Team Skills and Building a High-Performance Culture Lead and supervise the finance & accounting team The Successful Applicant You have 10 years of experience as a Finance Director in the agri-food or manufacturing sector, ideally in Africa Minimum 3 years of experience as the head of a multi-functional finance department Experience in a Big Four audit firm is highly desirable Holder of a CPA/CMA/ACCA certification is mandatory Experience with US GAAP, IFRS is mandatory Perfect command of French and English is mandatory
