Job Description : Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) Muscat, Oman Full-time Are you a strategic leader ready to shape organizational transformation through innovation, execution, and impact? A reputable financial institute in Oman is seeking an exceptional Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) to lead corporate strategy, drive enterprise transformation, and align long-term priorities with the organization’s strategic objectives. About the Role As Chief Strategy Officer, you will: •Lead the development and execution of the organization’s long-term strategy in alignment with national economic goals. • Drive strategic planning and oversee the implementation of enterprise-wide transformation initiatives. • Lead the design, ownership, and governance of the corporate Balanced Scorecard (BSC), ensuring alignment between strategic objectives, departmental scorecards, and overall bank KPIs. • Lead the Program Management Office (PMO) and ensure delivery of high-impact initiatives within scope, budget, and alignment. • Oversee policy frameworks, business process reengineering, and operational excellence programs. • Guide research, business intelligence, and analytics to support decision-making and market responsiveness. • Partner closely with executive leadership on innovation, organizational design, and strategic direction. • Ensure alignment with regulatory frameworks and embed governance across strategic initiatives. Who We’re Looking For We’re looking for a seasoned strategy executive who brings: • Minimum of 10 years of experience with at least 5 years in senior strategy role covering strategic planning, transformation, or corporate leadership roles in the banking or financial services sector. • Proven success in Balanced Scorecard design, performance management, and execution of cross-functional strategic initiatives. • Experience leading enterprise-wide programs (PMO), policy governance, and operational redesign. • Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks, national development priorities, and sectoral alignment. • Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills at the executive level. Education & Certifications • Master’s degree in Strategic Management, Business Administration, Organizational Leadership, or another field relevant to Strategic Planning is required. • Professional certifications in Strategy Execution, PMO, or Lean Six Sigma are an advantage. Role Conditions • Fluency in English is required. • The role is based full-time in Muscat, Oman.
