Job Description : General Manager – Operation for a leading COSMETICS COMPANY based in Central Africa* Experience: 10+ years Education : Degree in Chemical, Business Management, Engineering, or a related field + MBA · *Oversee the operations of Cosmetics Mfg Unit* · *Strong understanding of production processes, machines, and tools.* · *Factory management and possess profound knowledge in all fields of enterprise operations* · *Experience in lean manufacturing principles* · Oversee the entire operations of the factory, including production, procurement, quality control, and maintenance. · Develop and implement innovative strategies to streamline factory operations and improve productivity. · Screen, recruit, and train staff to ensure a skilled and motivated workforce. · Ensure worker safety and adherence to safety protocols. · Monitor equipment and schedule maintenance and repairs to minimize downtime. · Prepare and implement budgets and production schedules. · Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. · Coordinate with other departments such as sales and customer service to align objectives. · Resolve issues and disputes among factory staff. · Communicate with suppliers, customers, and stakeholders about factory performance. · Keep a record of all factory activities and report on important metrics. · *KNOWING THE LANGUAGE OF FRENCH / LINGALA /SWAHILI IS AN ADDED ADVANTAGE*
