Job Description : HYDROPOWER PLANT MANAGER ASIA Are you a seasoned leader in the energy sector with a passion for hydropower and electrical systems? We have an exciting opportunity for you! Location: Global regions spanning multiple continents Responsibilities: Develop, implement, and oversee preventive and corrective maintenance plans for mechanical, electrical, electromechanical, and hydraulic equipment. Monitor plant performance metrics and troubleshoot technical issues in a timely manner to minimize downtime. Ensure compliance with all safety protocols, environmental standards, and regulatory requirements. Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, operations, and safety teams to streamline workflows and improve energy management. Lead, mentor, and develop a skilled team of engineers, technicians, and operational personnel. Prepare reports, documentation, and budget proposals related to plant performance, maintenance activities, and capital improvements. Drive continuous improvement initiatives focusing on operational efficiency, cost reduction, and sustainability. Qualifications: 15 to 18 years of progressive experience managing hydropower plant operations and electrical mechanical system management, preferably within a large-scale industrial or utility environment. In-depth knowledge of hydroelectric plant equipment including turbines, generators, transformers, switchgear, and control systems. Educational Background: Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Systems, or a related field. Professional Experience: 15–18 years managing hydropower operations and complex electrical systems. Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead teams, manage large-scale projects, and solve technical challenges. Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills to coordinate with various internal and external stakeholders.
