He will be responsible for developing and executing the company's export sales strategy, driving revenue growth across international markets, building strong distributor relationships, and ensuring profitability through efficient commercial operations. This role demands strong leadership, market intelligence, and the ability to navigate global trade dynamics. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve export sales targets and expand into new international markets. Identify, evaluate, and manage international distribution partners and agents. Negotiate high-value contracts, pricing structures, and commercial terms with global clients. Monitor and analyze global market trends, competitor activity, and customer preferences. Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, export documentation, and country-specific import rules. Coordinate with internal teams (supply chain, finance, production) to ensure timely delivery and quality assurance. Track sales performance, profitability, and margins across regions and provide regular reports to senior management. Lead and mentor the export sales team, setting KPIs and promoting a performance-driven culture. Qualifications And Skills Needed Bac +5 (Master, MBA) in business, marketing, management or equivalent. 10 years of experience in a sales role, including at least 5 in an export management position. Experience in the food or consumer goods sector is a major advantage. Expertise in international commercial negotiation. Knowledge of logistical, customs and tax constraints in Africa. Skills in budget management, financial analysis and field marketing. Leadership, strategic mindset, results-oriented. Good interpersonal skills, ability to motivate and unite remote teams. Taste for the land and pan-African geographic mobility. Ability to adapt to different cultural and regulatory contexts.
