Job Description : Senior Manager, Operation & Maintenance (O&M) MALAYSIA FOR POWER PLANT and take charge of optimizing power plant operations in the country. What You’ll Do As a Senior Manager in O&M, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation and maintenance of power plant asset while maximizing their value. Your expertise will be instrumental in driving efficiency, reliability, and compliance of the asset. Overseeing daily operations of power plant asset to ensure optimal performance and adherence to regulatory standards. Analyzing plant performance data to identify improvement opportunities and implement strategies for enhanced efficiency. Managing risks related to asset performance, safety, and market conditions. Establishing projects team to manage contracts with suppliers, contractors, and regulatory bodies. Ensuring compliance with environmental standards and coordinating maintenance schedules effectively. Driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance plant performance, reduce costs, and improve safety measures. What You’ll Bring Your expertise in the energy sector will be key to excelling in this role. We’re looking for someone who combines technical knowledge with strategic thinking to deliver exceptional results. Bachelor's degree in engineering (electrical/mechanical/industrial) or a related field is required. At least 12 years of experience in the power industry, preferably with exposure to renewable energy (wind/solar farms) and gas-fired power plants. Strong understanding of power generation technologies, electrical systems, and plant operations. Financial acumen for analyzing data, developing budgets, and managing costs effectively. Proven experience in contract negotiation and management. Exceptional communication skills for engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
