Job Description : PROCUREMENT MANAGER GHANA FOR AGRO COMMODITIES leading West African Agricultural Commodities company dealing in International trading. Key Responsibilities: Need to take care of essential for the company’s day-to-day operations. Review prices and quality and ensure optimal stock levels. Procurement for raw material for Cashew, Timber, Soya, and Sesame. Keeping track of global Agri commodity price movement and market trend. Market analysis and research on potential vendors. Comparing and evaluating offers from the suppliers. Negotiating contract terms of agreement and pricing. Good understanding of shipping and logistics processes including export/shipping documentation. Analyzing market demand and supply patterns to forecast stocks and sales. Analyzing country-specific policies & global risk factors to predict pricing. Devising Demand Forecasting with the current market analysis, and Sales Planning to successfully achieve the targets. Close checking and supervision of product quality and ensuring that the products meet the maximum attainable standard of quality and reliability. Implementation and maintenance of quality systems and continuous improvement methodologies with a specific focus on growth cost reduction and process improvements. Desired candidate profile: Looking for 8-12 years of experience in the procurement department of Agro-Commodities. Ideally looking for candidates with West Africa experience.
