Estimation Support Manager

Job Description : Manager - Engineering Support Ammonia NIGERIA Reporting to: Lead Ammonia Job Description: Support Ammonia Plant project activities to ensure timely completion of all ammonia related project activities including engineering, procurement, construction, pre-commissioning and commissioning. Simulate Ammonia unit operations in process simulation software's to identify adequacy and/or margins on engineering contractor process deliverables Assist with the review of Technical & Engineering Specifications, Equipment Datasheets, PIDs, Equipment & Piping Layouts, Inspection & Test Plans, Piping Line lists, Isometrics, 3D model, control loop narratives, logic diagrams, loop & functional integrity, hook-ups, electrical load lists, etc. for detailed engineering phase of the Project. Participate in safety studies such as PHA, Hazardous Area Classification studies, HAZOP & SIL Studies, QRA, Air Dispersions modelling, Flares radiation study, Fire systems adequacy study, etc. along with follow up & close out of study recommendations. Support in developing and/or reviewing precommissioning and commissioning procedures Support in developing best operational management systems with respect to Quality, Health, Safety, Environment, Social; and good engineering practices with continual improvements in coordination with Plant Head Functional Skills: A. Process Engineering: In-depth knowledge of ammonia processes and related chemical engineering principles. Understanding of the design, operation, and maintenance of ammonia equipment. Staying abreast with the emerging technologies and best practices followed in Ammonia plants for minimising Ammonia Plant specific energy consumption. B. Safety and Environmental Compliance: Good Knowledge in industrial safety, environmental standards and regulatory compliance. Ability to implement and enforce protocols and conduct risk assessments and produce reports on the findings. Skills in implementing environmentally friendly and sustainable production practices. C. Quality Control: Proficiency in quality management systems and methodologies. Experience with process optimization and continual improvement techniques D. Troubleshooting: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues of the plant E. Cost optimization: Should be familiar with costing and budget preparation Behavioral Skills Adaptability & Flexibility Execution & Implementation Innovation & Creativity Reasoning & Analysis Result Orientation Qualification: BE / BTECH (Chemical) / Diploma (Chemical) Experience: 20+ years Selection Criteria: 20+ years' experience with BE / BTECH (Chemical) Experience in Ammonia Plant Engineering In-depth knowledge of ammonia processes and related chemical engineering principles would be an advantage Knowledge of all systems used in ammonia production Experience in Ammonia Plant operations would be an added advantage Possess hands on experience with process simulation software's
