Job Description : Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Location: Guinea (50%) & Dubai (50%) Employment Type: Full-Time | Expatriate Role Business Unit: Bauxite Mining Operations Role Overview: We are seeking a seasoned CFO to lead the financial function of our Guinea Bauxite operations, with additional oversight from Dubai HQ. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving financial strategy, compliance, reporting, and stakeholder engagement across borders. This is a key leadership role requiring strong experience in international taxation, cross-border transactions, financial controls, and project financing within a mining or heavy industry environment. Key Responsibilities: Financial Reporting: Oversee standalone and consolidated financial statements, audit processes, and Board approvals in compliance with IFRS/GAAP. Funding & Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to facility agreements, loan covenants, and manage all future fundraising (debt/equity). Tax Strategy: Lead local and international tax planning, including FEMA, transfer pricing, and cross-border tax compliance. Stakeholder Liaison: Maintain effective communication with investors, lenders, auditors, and board members. Financial Planning: Drive budgeting, forecasting, capital structure optimization, and long-term financial strategy. Cost & Risk Control: Implement cost control initiatives and a robust risk management framework, including insurance and hedging. Operations Support: Collaborate with operations to improve cost efficiency, resource allocation, and procurement strategies. Fundraising: Lead debt/equity capital raising for ongoing and future expansion projects. Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and build a high-performance finance team across locations. Requirements: Qualifications: CA / MBA (Finance) or equivalent. Experience: 15+ years in finance leadership, with international exposure (preferably in mining sectors). Skills: Expertise in IFRS, cross-border finance, multi-currency transactions, tax structuring, and stakeholder engagement. Travel: Willingness to travel frequently between Dubai and Guinea.
