18 yearsJob Description : Market Development & Growth Director Location: Flexible within Moscow, Bucharest, Warsaw or Istanbul Reports to: Chief Sales Officer About the Firm: A leading European drinks manufacturer with a diverse, premium portfolio spanning soft drinks, mixers, and ready-to-drink beverages. With over $400M in annual sales, they operate across retail distribution, HoReCa (hotels, restaurants, cafés), and e-commerce channels in more than 20 markets. The Current Need: As our Market Development & Growth Director, you’ll be responsible for identifying and driving strategic growth opportunities across new and existing markets. You’ll work closely with country teams, distributors, and key customers to accelerate brand penetration, open new channels, and execute targeted market expansion strategies. This is a senior commercial role requiring strong leadership, market insight, and a hands-on approach. This is a stand alone position that will be supported by a matrix "Sales Manager" based in KSA, UAE, Turkey, Philippines and Shanghai. Key Responsibilities Market Expansion Identify, evaluate, and prioritize new market opportunities across Europe and beyond, working closely with senior leadership to align with the company’s strategic roadmap. Drive new partners and distributors for full price SKU's. Channel Development Drive growth across our three core commercial pillars: Distribution, HoReCa, and E-commerce. Adapt the route-to-market model to fit local market dynamics. Commercial Partnerships Lead negotiations and build long-term relationships with distribution partners, national accounts, and regional operators. Ensure commercial terms are competitive, sustainable, and aligned with brand positioning. Strategic Planning Develop and execute go-to-market strategies tailored to regional trends, consumer behaviors, and competitor landscapes. Build market-specific business cases and support budgeting. Candidate Suitability Criteria: 18+ years’ experience in commercial or market development roles, ideally within beverages, FMCG, or food & drink sectors. Ideally experience across Far East and South East ASIA. Proven track record of launching and scaling brands in international markets. Strong commercial acumen with experience across HoReCa, retail distribution, and e-commerce Fluent in English, Russian or Turkish would be preferred. Willingness to travel frequently across the region Strategic mindset but not afraid to roll up your sleeves and get into the detail to deliver products not as well known across ASIA regions. Salary €180,000 + €40,000 Bonus + Car Allowance + Schooling + Relocation.
