Job Description : Senior Purchase Manager Location: Dubai Industrial City, Dubai Company: Plastic Bottles Manufacturing Job Type: Full-Time Experience Required: 8+ years in procurement/supply chain (preferably in manufacturing) Industry: Manufacturing – Plastics / Packaging Job Summary: The Senior Purchase Manager will oversee the procurement of raw materials, packaging components, machine parts, and other essential supplies. The role involves vendor development, price negotiation, inventory coordination, and ensuring timely delivery of materials to maintain smooth operations. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement effective purchasing strategies to ensure cost-effective procurement of raw materials (HDPE, PET, PP, etc.) Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with reliable suppliers and vendors. Ensure timely procurement to avoid production delays. Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with stores and production departments. Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and delivery schedules. Develop cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality. Collaborate with QA/QC to ensure materials meet required specifications. Ensure compliance with company policies and legal procurement standards. Generate periodic procurement reports for management review. Qualifications: Masters / Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field. Minimum 8 years of experience in procurement within a manufacturing environment (plastics or packaging industry preferred). Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills. Familiarity with ERP systems and MS Office Suite. Strong knowledge of plastic raw materials and packaging components. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
