Job Description : Chief Executive Officer (CEO) – Expat for EAST AFRICA looking for a dynamic and visionary Chief Executive Officer to lead an ambitious growth journey across East Africa. Based in Addis Ababa, the CEO will work closely with the President to define and execute a five-year roadmap that drives strategic expansion, operational excellence, and long-term value creation. This role will be instrumental in shaping the future of the company—by building a top-tier leadership team, refining the business model, and establishing the company as a regional leader in EPC, infrastructure, and advanced engineering solutions. What You’ll Lead ? Execution of a bold and transformative 5-year strategic plan ? Market expansion across infrastructure, renewable energy, and engineering services ? Development of a high-performing executive team and a strong organizational culture ? Oversight of capital growth, investment strategy & financial performance ? High-level representation with industry leaders, investors, and key stakeholders Who You Are ???? A strategic leader with 18+ years of executive experience (CEO/MD) in EPC, infrastructure, or construction ???? Deep understanding of East African markets and international engineering standards ???? Proven success in building businesses, leading scale-up efforts, and driving cross-border growth ???? Holds an advanced degree in Engineering or Business; MBA or international exposure highly preferred ???? Brings a track record of working with global partners, JVs, or multinational engineering firms
