About the Role This pivotal position reports directly to the CEO and involves overseeing the entire operational lifecycle of the production plant. The ideal candidate will steer manufacturing operations, ensure high-quality standards are consistently met, and implement strategic initiatives aimed at boosting efficiency and sustainability. You’ll lead a talented team of engineers, technicians, and operators, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, safety, and accountability. Your responsibilities will span daily operations, maintenance, quality assurance, compliance, and strategic planning, ensuring the plant’s performance aligns with corporate growth objectives. Candidate Requirements A Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering, with a preference for those holding a Master’s in Business Administration or Industrial Management. A minimum of 15 years’ experience in polyester film manufacturing, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership capacity. Proven expertise in BOPET film production processes, quality management systems (ISO standards preferred), and process optimisation. Strong understanding of safety protocols, environmental regulations, and maintenance strategies. Certifications such as Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or related standards are advantageous, showcasing your commitment to operational excellence. Ideal Candidate Profile The right individual will be a strategic thinker with a hands-on approach, demonstrating a track record of managing large-scale manufacturing operations successfully.
