Logistics Manager

Job Description : LOGISTICS MANAGER BELGIUM a leading company in the chemical sector based in Nivelles, is currently looking for a dedicated and experienced Logistics Department Manager. As a Logistics Department Manager, you will be responsible for: Supervising and coordinating all logistics operations related to national and international inbound and outbound transport Developing a strategic vision for the transport organization of finished products. Managing internal material flows with safety as the top priority. Optimizing transport processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs. Managing relationships with transport providers and suppliers. Leading and training a team of logistics professionals. Ensuring compliance with transport and safety regulations. Using and developing transport management systems (TMS) to enhance visibility and operational follow-up. About you : Degree in logistics, transport, or a related field (e.g. Engineering, Supply Chain). 10+ years of experience in a similar position Strong knowledge of mono-, bi-, and trimodal transport operations and international regulations. Proficiency in logistics management tools and TMS software. Fluent in French and English Strong people management and team development skills
