Job Description : General Manager Location: Lae, Papua New Guinea Are you a strategic leader with proven experience in logistics and port operations? The General Manager will oversee day-to-day operations, working closely with the Managing Director to implement strategic plans, ensure operational efficiency, and deliver on growth objectives. This role demands a commercially minded leader with the ability to inspire teams, manage complex operations, and build strong stakeholder relationships. · Lead strategic planning in partnership with the Managing Director to achieve company objectives. · Oversee and optimise daily operations, ensuring resources, processes, and systems run efficiently. · Identify and capitalise on new business opportunities to drive growth. · Implement robust risk management strategies and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. · Lead and develop senior management teams to deliver high performance. · Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting to support strategic decision-making. · Engage with key stakeholders, including partners and industry bodies, to maintain strong relationships.
