Job Description : Manager Accounts for Leading FMCG Industry at Central Africa. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Cost Accounting certification (e.g., CMA, ICWA) is a strong plus. Key Requirements: Minimum of 10 years of professional accounting experience, with at least 3-5 years in a cost accounting or accounts management role. Preferably from a manufacturing or industrial background. Strong knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS) and financial reporting. Proficiency in accounting software Job Responsibility: Responsible for managing and analyzing financial costs associated with the company’s operations, particularly within a manufacturing environment. Their primary duties include budgeting, maintaining cost records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring cost efficiency across departments. This role plays a key part in helping the company control expenses, improve profitability, and maintain accurate financial records that support informed decision-making. Manage all cost accounting functions including cost analysis, inventory valuation, and cost of goods sold (COGS) calculations. Develop and maintain standard costing systems, identify variances, and recommend corrective actions. Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and budgets. Collaborate with production and procurement teams to assess and optimize costs. Monitor and improve internal financial controls and processes. Provide detailed reports on cost drivers and margin performance. Assist in external audits and ensure all accounting activities comply with statutory regulations. Forecast costs and perform financial risk assessments for ongoing and future projects.
