Job Description : HSE HEAD KSA FOR SOLAR PROJECTS Leadership & Strategy Provide strategic direction, leadership, and support for the occupational health, safety, environmental, and quality aspects of Solar EPC projects, in line with ESG and sustainability commitments. Design, develop, and implement HSE management systems tailored to solar EPC operations. HSE Systems & Compliance Establish and maintain effective environment management, health, safety, and quality systems across all project phases. Ensure adherence to regulatory standards, ISO frameworks (e.g., ISO 45001, ISO 14001), and internal EHSS policies. Risk, Audit & Incident Management Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments to proactively identify and mitigate hazards. Lead incident investigations and execute root-cause analyses to implement corrective and preventive action. Construction & Procurement Safety Support and monitor HSE performance during construction, including contractor and subcontractor compliance. Coordinate with design and procurement teams to incorporate safety provisions into project specifications. Training & Competence Lead and oversee HSE training programs for site teams and stakeholders, boosting safety awareness and accountability. Emergency & PPE Management Formulate emergency preparedness and response procedures. Ensure appropriate PPE usage and availability across sites. Reporting & Metrics Track, analyze, and report HSE and ESG performance metrics. Align HSE reporting with sustainability strategy. Stakeholder Engagement Collaborate effectively across project, operations, corporate ESG, and external stakeholders to integrate HSE objectives seamlessly. Preferred candidate profile: Minimum 15+ years of robust experience in HSE leadership roles within construction or EPC environments. Experience of working in minimum 2 Solar EPC projects at Site. Proven track record in HSE system development, audits, incident investigation, and contractor safety management. Technical Proficiency Strong understanding of ISO standards (ISO 45001, ISO 14001) and emergency response planning. Expertise in HSE data analytics and reporting frameworks.
