International Sales & Distribution Director

Job Description : International Sales & Distribution Director Focus: Russia, China & GCC Markets: Location: Astana: Role Summary: This food processing giant group need a strategic global sales visionary to drive the manufacturing and distribution channels across borders. Lead commercial expansion for a global food processing group across Russia, China, and GCC, driving revenue growth, distributor partnerships, and market penetration in retail, HORECA, and e-commerce. Full P&L responsibility for priority markets with a mandate to accelerate high-margin growth and strengthen brand presence. Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute sales & distribution strategies tailored to Russia, China, and GCC consumer and trade dynamics. To take private label products and drive across core sales channels. Identify, negotiate, and manage high-performing distributors, importers, and key accounts. Secure contracts with major retailers, QSR chains, and online platforms. Oversee pricing, margin control, and trade spend efficiency. Ensure compliance with local regulations, customs, and import requirements. Lead cross-functional coordination with supply chain, marketing, and production to ensure OTIF delivery and local market adaptation. Profile Requirements: 10–15 years’ experience in FMCG/Food & Beverage with at least 5 years leading sales in Russia, China, or GCC. A profiles who has covered and opened Western Europe or US would be considered. We need a profile who is originally from Kazakhstan, Russia or Ukraine who understands the culture and ethos of the business. Proven track record in multi-country distribution management and delivering double-digit growth. Strong negotiation skills and understanding of regional retail/HORECA landscapes. Salary €180-190,000 + Car + Phone + Gym + Schooling (expats only) plus relocation allowance.
