Warehouse Head

Job Description : WH LEAD NIGERIA Manager- Lead (Warehouse) Responsible for all warehouse transactions into the business system for receiving, locating, storing, and pulling of product for the Service Operations warehouse. Works regularly with warehouse, office, and management staff. Will be required to communicate effectively, be technically proficient, and be able to accomplish time-sensitive tasks promptly and on time. Must remain calm under pressure, multi-task, and effectively problem-solve. A very high level of accuracy and commitment is required. Role & responsibilities Initiate, coordinate and enforce optimal operational policies and departmental SOPs Ensure inventories are accurate and control inventory levels by ensuring physical counts are conducted and reconciled with the automated system, utilizing the help of the warehouse team. Adhere to all Preservation Procedures, Manage spares -Parts management, Inventory Audits, management reports, Materials handling and shipping legislation requirements, Reconciliation of project materials, System postings, Security of assets and materials, storage planning and layout. Manpower resources planning, training, and HSE policies. Knowledge of various types of project materials and spares. Planning & inventory of all types of spares- A) MRO (maintenance, repair, and operating supply) (handing over to Operations), OEM spares,B) FOC, Mandatory, Commissioning (Project), C) Consumables /Operations/ Project,D) OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) Parts: maintaining the warranty of the equipment, OEM parts to be maintained for critical components of the machinery, where accuracy and reliability are crucial. Should be trustworthy- honest and integrity are important qualities. Create work schedules, assign assignments, and evaluate results. Maintain KPI-KRA, Annual budgets. * Must have the ability to delegate responsibilities to others. *Take control of the problem and resolve it in a calm and timely manner. Preferred candidate profile B.E/B.Tech/Any degree --22 - 25 Demonstrable experience of running a large warehouse, preferably in the Oil-Gas- downstream-Up-stream industry
