Job Description : Commercial Director – Guyana ???? Are you a seasoned commercial leader with a passion for driving business growth and building strategic partnerships? We are looking for a Commercial Director to lead all commercial aspects of our operations, managing contracts, negotiations, and client relationships while shaping our overall commercial strategy. This is a senior leadership role where you will oversee contract management, develop new business opportunities, and mentor a high-performing team to deliver long-term success. Key Responsibilities: 1. Lead the company’s commercial strategy, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives. 2. Manage contract performance and compliance, driving efficiency and value. 3. Negotiate key commercial agreements and resolve client issues effectively. 4. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders. 5. Mentor and develop a commercial team, ensuring knowledge transfer and local capability building. 6. Oversee commercial risk management, ensuring compliance with local and international standards. 7. Support business development initiatives and proposals for new clients and partnerships. 8. Utilize data analytics to enhance forecasting, reporting, and decision-making. Qualifications & Experience: 1.Bachelor’s Degree in Business Law, Business Administration, Contract Management, Project Management, or related field. 2. 20+ years of proven experience in negotiating, managing, or auditing contracts within the construction and/or oil & gas sectors. 3. Demonstrated success in leading cross-cultural teams and managing diverse stakeholders. 4. Exceptional negotiation, relationship-building, and leadership skills. 5. Strong analytical abilities with proficiency in MS Office and data-driven decision-making. 6. A proactive, self-starter mindset with the ability to work independently. ???? Location: Guyana
