Job Description : SENIOR SUPPLY CHAIN DIRECTOR PHOENIX USA This high-impact leadership role will drive regional planning strategy and execution, enabling agility, forecast accuracy, inventory optimization, and cross-functional alignment across North America. The Senior Director, Supply Chain is responsible for leading all facets of supply chain planning, including demand planning, supply planning, inventory management, capacity planning, and S&OP. The ideal candidate will bring deep FMCG expertise, a passion for data-driven planning, and the leadership acumen to build a high-performing, agile planning function in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement a comprehensive supply chain planning strategy, aligned with business and customer needs across the region. Lead the demand and supply planning functions, ensuring high forecast accuracy, optimal inventory levels, and service excellence. Oversee and enhance the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process to drive alignment across Commercial, Finance, and Supply Chain teams. Utilize advanced analytics and digital planning tools (e.g., SAP IBP, Kinaxis) to enable agile, scenario-based decision-making. Optimize inventory strategy to balance availability, working capital, and supply continuity. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to streamline planning processes and enable scale. Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing planning team, fostering accountability, collaboration, and growth. Partner cross-functionally to support product launches, promotions, and lifecycle management from a planning perspective. Define and monitor key planning performance metrics to ensure execution against business goals. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree is a plus. Minimum of 15 years of experience in supply chain, with at least 8 years in planning leadership roles in the FMCG sector. Deep expertise in demand and supply planning, inventory optimization, and S&OP. Proven success in leading planning transformations and implementing planning systems (e.g., SAP IBP, Kinaxis). Strong strategic, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Excellent leadership and communication capabilities, with a track record of leading planning teams in matrixed, cross-functional environments.
