Production Manager

Job Description : Production Manager AGRI POULTRY/ CATTLE FEEDS Location: Matambo, Tanzania is a well established and fast-growing agricultural solutions brand in East Africa providing complete support for livestock farmers across Tanzania and East Africa. They manufacture and offer veterinary products, feeds, equipment, and professional advisory services through a network of branches and route sales teams. Job Summary Our Client is seeking a highly capable and experienced Head of Agri Poultry /Cattle Feed Key Responsibilities · Responsible for Production of Agri Poultry / Cattle Feeds · Well versed in operation of mixer and production machines · knowledge of trouble shooting repairs · Lead and coordinate all operational functions across our clients farm branches and field teams and plan production activities accordingly · Manage logistics, inventory, stock management, warehouse of raw material and produced products · Maintain supplier relationships and ensure input quality compliance · Oversee budgeting, cost control, and monthly reporting · Implement safety, regulatory, and company standards across operations · Excellent leadership qualities and managing a large team Required Qualifications · Bachelors degree in Agribusiness, Animal Science, Veterinary Medicine, Agricultural Economics, Business Administration, or related field · Minimum 20 to 25 years of experience in Production of Agri Cattle / Poultry Feeds · Must have solid knowledge of livestock production systems and agricultural input supply chains · Strong leadership skills with experience managing cross-functional field teams · Fluent in English. Knowing spoken Swahili preferred. · Computer literacy, especially in Excel, ERP/stock management systems Terms of Employment · Full-time position · Initial 24-month contract (renewable based on performance) · Field visits and regional travel required · Preference having prior Africa experience · Medically FIT and Travel Savvy
