Maintenance Engineer

Job Description : Mechanical Maintenance Engineer – Refinery Operations Industry: Oil & Gas / Refinery Location: Nigeria Experience: 12+ years in Mechanical Maintenance (with at least 8 years in refinery/petrochemical plants) We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Professionals Key Responsibilities: Perform preventive, predictive & corrective maintenance of static and rotating refinery equipment (pumps, compressors, turbines, exchangers, vessels, piping). Troubleshoot breakdowns to ensure reliability and minimize downtime. Oversee shutdowns, turnarounds, and major maintenance activities. Ensure compliance with refinery safety, quality & environmental standards. Support reliability engineering and continuous improvement initiatives. What we look for: Degree in Mechanical Engineering Strong background in refinery mechanical maintenance Hands-on expertise in rotating & static equipment Knowledge of international codes & standards (API/ASME) Proactive, safety-focused & team-oriented
