General Manager

Job Description : GM ETHIOPIA The ideal candidate is a hands-on, results-driven leader with exceptional operational expertise, strong commercial acumen, and a proven track record of managing export-oriented manufacturing operations with a high degree of autonomy. Key Responsibilities Lead the business to profitability, efficiency, and long-term growth. Own the P&L and oversee commercial decisions: pricing, supplier relations, contracts, and negotiations. Drive operational excellence across procurement, production, warehousing, quality, and logistics. Ensure compliance with international health, safety, and quality standards. Expand market presence through new buyers, export markets & trade opportunities. Oversee financial operations, risk management, and profitability analysis. Build & inspire a high-performance team & foster a culture of accountability & excellence. Qualifications 8+ years in operations or general management in manufacturing/agro-processing, with at least 3 years in senior leadership. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Agribusiness, or Business; MBA preferred. Experience managing export-focused businesses in Ethiopia or East Africa. Strong knowledge of P&L management, supply chain, and quality systems. Excellent English communication skills; international exposure preferred. Commercial mindset with strong negotiation skills.
