Senior Accountant

Job Description : Senior Accountant – Oil & Gas Trading or Shipping. Salary -AED25,000 Location: Business Bay, Dubai Start Date: Immediate Kurdos is seeking a Senior Accountant with robust experience in derivatives accounting, specifically within the oil & gas trading and shipping industries. This is a vital role within our finance team, and only candidates with direct exposure to commodity, freight, and financial derivatives will be considered. Key Responsibilities: Record and manage ERP entries for commodity, shipping, and derivatives transactions Handle accounts receivable/payable reporting and reconciliation Prepare cash flow forecasts and ensure tax compliance Support preparation of financial statements and audits Process bank transactions and oversee payment execution Maintain accuracy in hedging and derivatives-related accounting Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (CPA, ACCA, CA, or CIMA is a strong plus) Minimum 15 years of accounting experience in oil & gas trading, shipping, or commodities Proven hands-on experience in derivatives accounting (e.g., swaps, forwards, futures, options) Proficient in ERP systems (SAP Business One/HANA or Microsoft Dynamics 365) and CTRM tools (Aspect)
