Job Description : GM CONSUMER GOODS DUBAI UAE This role leads the end-to-end wheat trading lifecycle—from global origination to importation, hedging, pricing, and margin delivery—while anchoring partnerships with suppliers, regulators, and customers across the Gulf. It demands a seasoned trader who can balance strategic foresight with on-the-ground execution. Key Responsibilities Full P&L Ownership – Manage purchasing, supplier contracts, hedging, imports, and sales across the wheat vertical. Global Origination, Local Execution – Source from key export markets (Black Sea, EU, Australia, Americas) while navigating Gulf regulatory, storage, and logistics environments. Market Intelligence & Price Strategy – Translate data on climate, freight, currency, and geopolitics into profitable trading decisions. Stakeholder Management – Build trusted relationships with governments, ports, customs, exporters, brokers, and bulk buyers. Commercial Expansion – Support broader B2B and retail growth through structured commodity integration. Your Profile 15+ years in Agri-commodity trading with deep expertise in grains, especially wheat. Strong grasp of futures, spot markets, FOB/CIF terms, and hedging instruments. Proven operational know-how: port logistics, silo operations, customs, and compliance regimes. A trusted network across exporters, brokers, and buyers in Africa, Asia, and MENA. Demonstrated leadership of multinational, cross-functional teams. Strategic thinker with a hands-on execution style—you’ve traded your own book and delivered results under pressure.
