Job Description : PROCESSING PLANT MANAGER HARARE ZIMBABWE efits: Negotiable Responsibilities: Oversee daily operations of the poultry processing plant, ensuring production targets, quality standards, and safety protocols are met Lead and manage cross-functional teams including production, quality assurance, maintenance, and logistics Develop and implement operational strategies to optimize throughput, reduce waste, and improve yield Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, health standards, and environmental policies Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare regular reports for senior management Coordinate with procurement, cold chain, and distribution teams to align production with market demand Manage plant budgets, cost controls, and resource allocation Drive training, coaching, and performance management initiatives across plant staff Lead capital projects and equipment upgrades in collaboration with the engineering and maintenance departments Key Skills: Proven experience in plant management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role. Extensive experience in the food processing/manufacturing industry. Strong financial acumen with experience in budget management and cost control. Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and develop teams. In-depth knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations. Proven track record of implementing continuous improvement initiatives and driving operational excellence. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
