10 yearsJob Description : GROUP HEAD FINANCE AND ADMIN HARARE ZIMBABWE Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with the organisation’s short, medium, and long-term goals. Advise the GCEO and Board on financial, treasury, and operational matters, including risk and investment opportunities. Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning processes. Support business expansion, mergers, acquisitions, and capital raising initiatives. Oversee the preparation of timely and accurate financial reports, management accounts, and statutory submissions. Ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards (e.g., IFRS) and regulatory requirements. Monitor financial performance, profitability, and cost control measures across all business units. Implement strong internal controls, financial policies, and audit readiness. Assume full Profit & Loss (P&L) accountability, ensuring revenue growth, cost efficiency, and profitability targets are achieved across the business units. Manage cash flow, liquidity, and working capital to support operational and strategic objectives. Optimise banking relationships, credit facilities, and investment portfolios. Develop and maintain treasury risk management frameworks covering interest rate, currency, and liquidity risks. Ensure efficient management of debt, equity, and other funding structures. Lead, mentor, and develop Finance, Treasury, and Operations teams to build a high-performing culture. Foster collaboration between finance, operations, and other business units. Serve as a key liaison with external auditors, tax authorities, regulators, investors, and strategic partners. Approving new market entries, acquisitions, or divestitures. Establishing financial, treasury, and operational policies that impact the entire organisation. Decisions on operational risk mitigation, including health, safety, and regulatory adherence. Deciding whether to raise capital through equity, debt, or alternative instruments. Key Skills: Strong financial acumen with strategic business insight. Excellent leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills. High proficiency in financial modelling, forecasting, and analytics. Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills. Ability to work under pressure and deliver results in a fast-paced environment. Sound judgment, integrity, and commitment to corporate governance best practices. Proven track record in treasury management, operational leadership, and strategic financial planning. Undergraduate degree Finance/ Accounting/ Economics or related field. MBA/Strategic Leadership preferred. Professional accounting qualificatZion (CA/ ACCA, CIMA, CPA etc) essential. Experience in a multi-entity or regional group environment is an advantage.
