Job Description : Head of Quality –EPC –ONSHORE Business Location: Domestic, India Team Size: 200+ Region Cover: Heading India , Middle East , Africa EPC Oil & Gas /Onshore Business Head of Quality –EPC –ONSHORE Key Responsibilities · Quality Management: Develop, implement, and maintain Company(EPC Onshore)'s Quality Management System and project-specific Quality Assurance Plans (QAP) and Inspection and Test Plans (ITP). · Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and coach the QA/QC team, fostering their competency development and ensuring alignment with project and organizational goals. · Auditing and Compliance: Conduct and coordinate internal and external quality audits, ensuring adherence to Company(EPC Onshore)'s policies, client requirements, and relevant industry codes and standards (e.g., ISO 9001). · Client & Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as the primary technical authority and client-facing representative for all quality-related matters, ensuring their requirements are met. · Project Lifecycle Management: Oversee quality from design reviews through to commissioning, including document control, inspection of deliverables, and management of non-conformances. · Performance Monitoring: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to track quality performance, analyze trends, and report findings to senior management. · Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives, promote a quality-focused culture, and implement corrective and preventive actions to enhance efficiency and product quality. · Vendor Quality Management: Assess and approve vendors and suppliers, conduct factory inspections, and review their quality management systems and documentation. Required Skills and Experience · Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of quality control principles, inspection techniques, NDT, and relevant codes and standards for the onshore hydrocarbon and construction industries. · Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and motivate teams, manage departments, and drive quality excellence. · Communication: Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with internal teams, clients, and other stakeholders. · Strategic Thinking: Ability to align quality initiatives with business objectives, identify risks, and implement effective mitigation strategies. · Experience: Extensive experience in quality management within large-scale industrial projects, often with experience in the oil & gas, petrochemical, or EPC/EPCC sectors.
