Job Description : Plant Head – Sohar, Oman Are you an experienced leader in manufacturing and smelting operations ready to take charge of a high-performing industrial plant? We’re looking for a Plant Head to join our team in Sohar, Oman. The salary is flexible and will be determined based on your experience and qualifications. ???? Key Requirements: Education ???? Bachelor’s in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Metallurgical, Material, or Industrial) ???? MBA / advanced certifications preferred Experience ? 15+ years in manufacturing operations (ideally in Oman) ? Senior leadership/managerial experience (preferably in Oman) ? Strong background in smelting (steel, ferroalloys, non-ferrous metals) ? Hands-on with smelting, casting, batching, crushing, and packaging ? Network with Omani authorities/government bodies is a big plus Technical Knowledge ???? Operation of submerged arc furnaces (SAF) ???? High-temperature smelting & safety protocols ???? ERP & process control software Leadership & Management ???? Lead and motivate multi-disciplinary teams ???? Oversee production, maintenance, quality & safety ???? Budgeting, KPIs, and resource management Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) ? Compliance with Omani & international HSE standards ? Knowledge of ISO, IATF, OHSAS frameworks ? Familiarity with ESG/IFC requirements
