Chief Restructuring Officer

Job Description : Chief Restructuring Officer (CRO) a major foods, farming, and FMCG leader with operations across the GCC and North Africa (turnover $4BN), is seeking a Chief Restructuring Officer to lead transformation and stabilization initiatives. This critical role reports directly to the Board of Directors and will work closely with shareholders. Key Responsibilities: Lead and execute strategic initiatives to restructure and transform the group. Assess financial and operational challenges across multiple business units. Develop and implement turnaround plans with a strong focus on efficiency and profitability. Engage with banks, creditors, and investors to ensure stability and confidence. Drive M&A, financing, and cost optimization initiatives. Provide clear guidance, counsel, and risk management across complex structures. Ideal Profile: Senior finance leader with Big 4 / CFO background and proven CRO or strategy experience. Strong track record in crisis management and navigating ambiguity within conglomerates and family-owned organizations. Expertise in bank negotiations, restructuring, M&A, and operational cost management. Exceptional leadership and stakeholder management skills. Must have managed Restructuring/Turnaround project in the last 2 years for a family owned business worth $1BN + Core Focus Areas: Turning around struggling business units. Driving efficiency and sustainable profitability. Reassuring stakeholders by providing experienced, decisive leadership. Compensation: $450,000 + incentives + performance milestones. Location: Jeddah or Dubai with travel.
