Job Description : CREDIT CONTROLLER TANZANIA 10+ years experience Job location: Dar-Es-Salaam (Tanzania) Job profile This role will be responsible for: Development and Implementation of Credit Transaction Guidelines: Developing & implementing clear and transparent guidelines for credit transactions, ensuring that all credit sales are approved, consistent, and aligned with company policies. Monitoring and Managing Credit Sales Monitor and manage credit sales to ensure the company maintains an optimal level of debtors and cash flow, contributing to achieving financial targets. Oversee & Review of group level debtors outstanding. Key Responsibilities: Customer Master Management Customer Account Management Credit Limit Management Outstanding Dues Monitoring: Reconciliation and Reporting: Transfer & Reversal Management: Payment Validation Account Closure/Blocking Adherence to RACI Matrix Compliance with Procurement Laws Experience:10-12 years relevant experience in credit management, financial analysis or a related field, with a focus on credit transactions and debtors management. Experience in working with financial systems and accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks). Exposure to Credit Insurance .Key Skills: Strong Analytical Skills: Ability to assess creditworthiness, manage debtors, and analyse financial reports. Knowledge of Credit Risk Management: Understanding of how to evaluate risks associated with extending credit and the management of overdue payments. Financial Reporting and Analysis: Ability to generate detailed reports (e.g., debtors outstanding reports) and analyse data to inform decision-making. Problem-Solving and Decision-Making: Strong skills in identifying issues related to credit transactions, overdue payments, and account discrepancies, and proposing solutions. Excellent Communication Skills: Proficient in interacting with both internal teams (e.g., finance, sales) and external customers to resolve credit-related issues and maintain positive relationships. Negotiation Skills: Experience in negotiating payment terms with customers and following up on overdue payments. Mindfulness: Accuracy in validating payment proofs and conducting reconciliations.
