Finance Head

Job Description : FINANCE HEAD VIETNAM Supervise daily accounting activities on SAP, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local regulations while maintaining high standards of data accuracy and integrity. Review financial reports in accordance with accounting standards and ensure timely submission of Group reporting packages. Prepare statutory and consolidated financial statements under IFRS guidelines, whilst managing relationships with external auditor. Advise on improvements to accounting management systems and procedures. Manage all tax matters such as identifying opportunities for optimisation whilst ensuring full compliance with local tax laws and OECD transfer pricing regulations. Analyse economic-financial KPIs to understand company performance, support organisational goals, and proactively address deviations from budget or previous periods. Conduct monthly profitability analyses including sell-out price comparisons, variable cost impacts, and working capital management to inform business decisions. Collaborate with local management and headquarters functions on full-year budgeting and periodic forecasting activities to align financial planning with corporate objectives. Responsible for treasury and cashflow management including managing bank relationships and prepare cashflow forecasts. What you bring: Bachelor’s degree in Finance and Accounting, or relevant disciplines. At least 10-15 years’ work experience in Finance Controlling, with strong people management experience. Solid experience within Manufacturing environment, with preferably exposure to Regional Finance scope. In-depth knowledge of international accounting standards (IFRS) combined with hands-on experience preparing statutory and consolidated financial statements. Knowledge of accounting and finance regulations in Singapore will be an advantage. Excellent interpersonal skills enabling effective communication with auditors, banks, suppliers, internal stakeholders, and multinational teams, especially those in Headquarters. Strong communication in both Vietnamese and English required. High commitment and willingness to travel (shuttle bus provided).
