Oversee the entire portfolio of data analytic products from strategic planning through tactical execution, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and go-to-market strategies. Collaborate closely with stakeholders to gather feedback, continuously refine product offerings, and ensure solutions remain relevant in a rapidly changing landscape. Co-develop robust data foundations built on global platforms, ensuring assets are well-governed and support high-quality decision-making across all business domains. Shape business-centric data product strategies that deliver measurable value by integrating emerging technologies, managing product lifecycles, and aligning with broader business objectives. Take accountability for end-to-end product delivery across the region, ensuring traceability to return on investment and maintaining high predictability in solution deployment. Work hand-in-hand with global teams to uphold standards, achieve scalability, and drive ongoing improvements in product effectiveness and efficiency. Champion consistent operational and performance reporting capabilities that enable guided discovery and agile decision-making throughout the organisation. Act as the single point of contact for AI governance within the region, ensuring use cases deliver tangible impact while adhering to global standards. Build advanced analytics capabilities using predictive and prescriptive methods to generate actionable insights that support market strategies. What you bring: To excel as Director of Data and Analytics in this organisation, your background should reflect deep expertise in both technical disciplines and people management. Your holistic approach enables you to connect strategic vision with hands-on execution: from designing robust governance frameworks for AI adoption through to optimising total cost of ownership via disciplined lifecycle management. Your communication style fosters trust among diverse stakeholders—bridging gaps between IT specialists and business leaders alike—while your commitment to inclusive leadership ensures every voice is heard. With a passion for continuous learning and improvement, you are adept at navigating ambiguity while keeping projects aligned with evolving organisational priorities. At least 10 years’ experience managing technical teams at a global or regional scale; demonstrated ability to foster team-building in complex environments. Background in information-intensive industries or digitally advanced enterprises is preferred. Expertise in multivariate statistical analysis such as regression models, cluster analysis, behavioural market structure analysis, and other advanced techniques. Comprehensive understanding of data structures, and software relevant to large-scale analytics initiatives. Broad technical knowledge spanning machine learning applications, artificial intelligence concepts, core analytics tools, cloud computing platforms, and advanced analytics solutions. Proven track record translating vision into actionable strategy; balancing discovery with delivery while anticipating future needs for continuous improvement of product features. Exceptional interpersonal communication skills (both oral and written), including the capacity to explain digital concepts clearly to non-technical audiences as well as translate business requirements for technical teams.
