General Manager

Job Description : GM FINANCE AND ACCOUNTS KENYA To manage the financial reporting for the organization. Monitor and implement financial and control systems to ensure responsiveness to business needs. To manage team on effective & efficient deliverables of day to day reporting and transactional goals. Setting up of complete financial accounting, reporting environment, revenue accounting, variance Analysis with Annual Operating Plan, Budgeting and Variance reports. Revenue planning and variation analysis. Monthly, quarterly and annual closing of Financial Statements and Reporting to management. Working closely with Auditors, Tax Consultants and Financial Advisers. To be involved in Financial due diligence of various acquisitions. Front ending various changes in Financial Reporting such as Group's transition to IFRS (Ind-AS) and Internal Controls on Financial Reporting ( Indian SOX). Required Candidate profile Should be qualified CA with 12+ years experience in plant finance & commercial Should have hands-on experience in SAP Should have good & effective communication Ability to work in teams with a diverse set of team members Should have acquired sound knowledge of the accounting environment and internal controls, generally accepted accounting procedures, accounting standards, auditing and assurance standards, guidance notes and company law requirements. Should be capable of streamlining the working processes and formulating cost effective solutions for enhancing overall profitability of the organization as well as improving efficiency in Finance & Accounts operations; internal & regulatory compliances.
