Job Description : Head of R&D – Food Division UAE Department: Research & Development Reports To: Chief Executive Officer / Director of Operations About the Role We’re seeking a visionary Head of R&D to lead innovation, development, and optimization of food products. You’ll turn consumer insights and market trends into commercially successful products while driving a culture of innovation, quality, and scientific excellence. Key Responsibilities Define and implement R&D strategy aligned with company goals. Lead, mentor, and grow a multidisciplinary R&D team. Drive product ideation, formulation, testing, and commercialization. Ensure compliance with nutritional, safety, and regulatory standards (HACCP, ISO, Halal, etc.). Manage supplier audits, process optimization, and technical documentation. Oversee multiple R&D projects, budgets, and external collaborations. Qualifications Bachelor’s/Master’s in Food Science, Technology, or Nutrition. 8–12 years in food product development, incl. 3–5 years in leadership. Proven track record of launching food products from concept to market. Strong knowledge of food processing, sensory science & quality systems. Excellent leadership, project management, and communication skills.
