Industry Preference: Healthcare Sector Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership Partner with the CEO and executive team to develop and execute financial strategies aligned with the organization's mission and goals. Provide financial insight and recommendations to support decision-making and long-term planning. Evaluate and advise on the financial impact of long-range planning, new programs, and regulatory changes. Financial Management Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP and healthcare industry standards. Manage the budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes across departments and service lines. Develop and monitor key financial KPIs and metrics to ensure financial health and accountability. Revenue Cycle & Reimbursement Direct and improve revenue cycle operations, including patient billing, collections, and payer negotiations. Ensure accurate and compliant reimbursement from Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payers. Monitor changes in reimbursement models and develop strategies to adapt. Regulatory Compliance & Risk Management Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial reporting and healthcare regulations. Work closely with legal, audit, and compliance teams to identify and mitigate financial and operational risks. Lead annual audits and oversee relationships with external auditors and consultants. Capital Planning & Investment Manage capital structure, including financing, investment, and debt management strategies. Oversee major capital projects and technology investments. Evaluate and recommend mergers, acquisitions, partnerships, and other growth opportunities.
