Job Description : PLASTIC FACTORY MANAGER MALAWI 12-15 years experience Designation - Production / Factory Manager (Plastics) Reporting To - CEO Required Skills: * Expertise in Injection Molding and Blow Molding Machines * Working knowledge of both Milacron Injection Molding machine and Jagmohan Blow Molding machine Job Responsibilities: * Responsible for Production and maintenance of the entire plant. * Able to run Milacron injection machines for bucket and lid making as well Jagmohan Jerrycan and cap making machines. * Able to control losses in the production * Oversee the production process, drawing up a production schedule; * Ensure that the production is cost effective; * Decide what resources are required; * Draft a timescale for the job; * Estimate costs and set the quality standards for each and every specific product; * Monitor the production processes and adjust schedules as needed; * Be responsible for the selection and maintenance of equipment; * Monitor product standards and implement quality-control programs; * Liaise with different departments, e.g. suppliers, managers; * Work with managers to implement the company's policies and goals; * Ensure that health and safety guidelines are followed; * Supervise and motivate a team of workers; * Review worker performance; * Identify training needs.
